5 parenting tips that will help you raise your child, better

Child development is a very broad and sensitive topic. Broad because a child has many needs, all of which are very important, and sensitive because not all children react in the same way to a certain situation.

Here are five tips, which can help you raise your child the way he should be raised:

1. Indulge your child in fun learning games like; asking them to name different animals, body parts, identify colors, solving elementary level puzzles etc.

2. Read stories, poems, and anything else to them, which they might find interesting.

3. Encourage your children to ask questions about the world, and explore with them something new every day.

4. Teach them new words, every day. Vocabulary is one of the most prominent signs of intelligence. So familiarize your child with things, which are  part of his everyday life like; ‘toys’, ‘bottle’, ‘mom’, ‘dad’, ‘friends’, and so on.

5. Send your child to a good play school, where he can meet other children his age, and where he can learn through games, interaction, story time, etc.

Big Bird’s Playhouse in Staten Island is a fine example of a playschool, where the staff takes care of every little aspect that goes into the proper development of children, regardless of their age group or intellectual level.
