10 things that can insure top quality learning in preschools

http://www.thebigbirdsplayhouse.com/
Enrolling your child in a Playschool is the first step towards their academic journey. If your child is between 2-4 years of age, then it is the right time to get him/her enrolled in a preschool.

However, to make sure that your child is getting top quality playschool learning, you need to keep track of a few things first.

The following is a list of some of the major ones:
  • Many creative activities like; building blocks, table toys, picture books, art materials, puzzles, etc. should be planned for kids.
  • Cramming of things should not be supported; instead, learning should be imparted. For example, numbers and alphabets should be taught via pictures and showcasing things, instead of forcing children to learn things from just books.
  • There should be smaller groups of children per classroom, so that each child gets equal attention.
  • No partiality should be there in preschool. Be it an active kid or slow learning kid, each child should get their own space.
  • Besides the fact that teachers should be educated and knowledgeable, they should also be loving and caring.
If you are looking for a playhouse, which is equipped with all of these aforementioned points, you must consider Big Bird's Playhouse in Staten Island.

It’s a perfect learning place for kids of different age groups. Link Big Bird Playhouse camp on Facebook

5 parenting tips that will help you raise your child, better

Child development is a very broad and sensitive topic. Broad because a child has many needs, all of which are very important, and sensitive because not all children react in the same way to a certain situation.

Here are five tips, which can help you raise your child the way he should be raised:

1. Indulge your child in fun learning games like; asking them to name different animals, body parts, identify colors, solving elementary level puzzles etc.

2. Read stories, poems, and anything else to them, which they might find interesting.

3. Encourage your children to ask questions about the world, and explore with them something new every day.

4. Teach them new words, every day. Vocabulary is one of the most prominent signs of intelligence. So familiarize your child with things, which are  part of his everyday life like; ‘toys’, ‘bottle’, ‘mom’, ‘dad’, ‘friends’, and so on.

5. Send your child to a good play school, where he can meet other children his age, and where he can learn through games, interaction, story time, etc.

Big Bird’s Playhouse in Staten Island is a fine example of a playschool, where the staff takes care of every little aspect that goes into the proper development of children, regardless of their age group or intellectual level.
